Lighting question

I'm working with a 3ft by 2ft space, and wanted to know if 400 watts is to much light, heat, for such a small space? If it's to much does anyone know where to get a good 250w switchable system? Thanks.

I would go 600....but the 400 will be ok...imo

i am presuming you are talking 3x4x8 high, flowering room(veg doesnt need quite the wattage of a flowering room)....any light can be used, the min size for that room is a 400HPS.a 600 or 1000 still is better if you have proper intake and exhaust for heat purposes.the more light the better in flower!!!hope this helps and good luck with your grow.

3ft wide, 20 inches deep and 80 inches tall (6ft 6in) I've converted a closet under the stairs, into my grow space.
