lighting question PLEASE

I have 11 newly sprouted, hopefully, ladies that I need out of the cfl lit area they are in. Their room is equipped with two 400w dimmable MH. My question is they've only had light for 4 days and they are stretching quite a bit so is it to soon to put them under 1 of my MH at 50% or will i be safe? Also can I go ahead and replant those stretchy stems even though their so young?

I grow my seedlings under a 400w full power. No issues as of yet .They stretch because they're looking for light, aka you don't have not enough light.

like he said. Plants stretch during dark periods, maybe dim it down a little bit till theyre bigger. goodluck

Seedlings only need about 500fc. Any less and they start to strech. You will have no prob putting your girls under the MH's. Just make sure they dont get too hot. only replant if you can do it safely (without tearing up the roots). At this point damage to the root system will take a while for the plant to recover from. Plus the added stress may give you some hermies. I would transplant only when the plant has a good root system. Good luck!

I use cfl for tje whole grow, with no stretch at ALL. But i have a 400w mh setup as well, i just dont have the space for it yet. Cfl work great, if the canopy is no less than 3 or 4 inches away. Good luck.
