lighting help please

my grow room is about 12 sqare feet. im growing 5 plants. im going to use a combination of metal halide bulb 400 watts and high pressure sodium 400 watts. is this too many watts? also will 1 fan blowing through the small room be enough to keep the bulbs cooled off?

There is only one real way to find out. The more light the better, but the more watts the more heat.
