Lighting for 4x2 - HLG qb options in Canada?

Hello,

I wonder what light to go with for a Gorilla Grow 4'x2'x6'11" tent from the options on HLG's Canadian site. Not interested in Alibaba, would prefer shipped from Canada/USA, and am interested in HLG either in kit form or premade. I'd possibly be grabbing 260w XL kit if available here but is not unfortunately.

Would a regular 260w Rspec kit from HLG suffice for 4x2 or does it have enough light spread for that space? Would a 320w XL kit be overboard to the point of adding too much heat to the tent despite having better coverage? If considering the 320w XL kit, is it also then worth considering the 350R for 4x2 flowering footprint? Wondering if it is overkill having a 320 XL or 350R dimmed down more often than not, whereas the regular 260w may not have quite the spread of those longer options.

Thanks!

The 320'd be sweet. Ask for a coupon code. The "RIU10" one doesn't work on that site. I think @Doug Dawson got them to give him a discount code.

Email [email protected], tell them you are interested in a specific product and there is a 10% off coupon on RIU that does not appear to work in the Cad site. Ask them if there is one for the Cad site and they will provide you with a unique 10% code. The lady I spoke to was Mandy.

Would you guys consider 'stopping' at the 320w kit, and not moving up to the 350R? Or is the 320w kit better optimized for a 2x4x7 grow tent/space (better spread, or)?

I prefer the spread of the boards, but it's up to you. The 320 can put off more light than you'll need.

I'm a big fan a having flexibility. I just recently purchased a Triple Slate board combo and a HLG-480-C2800A for $350. Right now it's running at 440 watts at a chill 37C.
