Lighting decisions

Hey guys,

Here's my issue. I have a 3x4x6 space and in there I have a 190 cfm fan and can filter that runs thru my cool tube. My light is a 600HPS And is on a dimmable ballast. I'm on day 34 of flower and ran into slight herm issues. I believe it's due to the 90*F temps. What I'm wondering is that I've sense lowered the light to about 450watt. Does anyone know if this will decrease my yield drastically or am I better off as the temp doesn't go over 82* F at its highest point of the day. Am I better off leaving it at 450 or should I just forget about the heat now since I've already stressed my girls to the point of Hermi. I'm not pulling them down as they are beautiful and I'm not into retail it's just for me but I still want big yield lol. I'm just not sure what will be better. 600 watt with crazy temps or will 450 and controlled temps get a bigger yield? Being that I'm in this space I'm finishing off here BUT next run will be in a 6x6x10 area with its own central AC vent and ventilation that goes ALL THE WAY OUTSIDE. I've made countless newbi mistakes but still looking pretty good (besides herm issue) and want to ensure I get the biggest yield I can get given I've already hurt my yield size just by having seeds but don't want to do anything else to shrink my yield. any thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

upgrade to an rvk and time lights off during the hot times of the day

i think the herm issues speak for them selves

I freaking hear you on that. I have timers and all but that was my first mistake. The hours I set it for. I should've done it at night so the day time heat wouldn't be a issue but freakn newb was thinking ass backwards!! What's an rvk? A timer? But like I said next run will be in a MUCH better environment as I learned soooo much from what I'm calling a test run lol.

Im hoping they keep growing tho. I've got a couple nice colas on one plant which supposed to be WW and my mystery Sativa has a bunch of small ones but neither one seems to be gaining any size. Think I fukd that up with prior heat issue? Or just not that part of bloom yet? I'm only 35 days since light change. Thanks for advise to both of you I appreciate the input!!!

an rvk is a high compression and high cfm fan which will normally shift 40% more air than the equivalent size inline

my 6" does over 350-400 cfm

Ok I have an inline fan but it's only 190cfm. About to upgrade to a 440 cfm fan for my new room that's under construction. That's a couple weeks away tho.
