Here is my issue;

Im at the end of Veg period and have been on an aggressive 22 on 4 off.

I have also read that naturally plants need as much light as you can chuck at them.......

So if i flip is it best to do

a) 11 on and 13 off
b) 12 on and 12 off
c) 13 on and 11 off
d) 14 on and 10 off

Ive read somewhere that as long as under 15 hours the girls think winter is coming and start flowering.....

Here is my Question;

So with that in mind and the more light the better what will YIELD the best!!!!?

any ideas/advice

my last grow which was also my first grow was done at 12/12 but looking to improve on yields as much as poss.....

Hello, IMO, the phrase "plants can take as much light as you throw at them" is true, but you are taking it a little out of original context. IMO, throwing max light at your plant would be Lumens per SQ FT and as close as you can get the source to the plant without burning it, not how many hours of light it gets per day in veg. I was doing a little research on the forums about this same topic, it's been around a lot. I suppose your best bet is to keep 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flower, and just have the brightest lamps you can afford, and keep you cab/room cool. I understand that plants can benefit from dark periods, as the plant moves stored energy from the leaves down into the roots when the lights are out, therefore helping grow more roots. I understand that roots don't develop right when given long periods of light without any sleep cycles. I see you are in Flower now so GL with old 12/12, think higher lumens instead. PEACE

Thanx for the input...my first grow was 24/0 for last two weeks of veggin and the plants grew to 5ft monsters- yeilding an average amount but now i have just 4 plants in ample room with a 400w hps and 2 x cfl 125w over the top lighting. so relly looking for yield tweaks maybe i should look into another method of tweaking my girls
