how many watts to you think I would need to properly light up this space? What could a feasible yield be in a tent and what would be the best way to do it?

about 10, better get busy

edit
on second thought 8 would probably saturate the space. assuming wall to wall canopy.

6.5' x 6.5' = 42.25 sqft * 30w/sqft =1267.5w or about 6 bars of your current build to get you started

Im getting 1.5gpw @27w/sqft with cxa3070 3ks. I don't have any "commercial strains" but my strains are all decent yielders

I was gonna say 4-6 depending on efficiency.... 6 is 1320 watts good for 31 watts/Sq. Ft.....
[Example: 40% efficiency = 528 PAR watts....528x4.66joule/PAR watt = 2460 PPF

2460/ 3.9m^2 = 631 PPFD average

@PurpleBuz might have had the closest guess, but that PPFD @ 1320 watts could also be raised with higher efficiency....10%? just by going to CXB3070 AB/AD, which could put you over 700PPFD...very good #'s....

micromole of photons/joule
joule/watt is better known as second ;)
