thanks this is the first time with the clear cups. did not do it on purpose i realized what i was asking and thought i would ask a ? i was pretty sure i new but again a dumb ? is the ? not asked. and about the cubes, i have them sitting in water with the lid on. i have tried with out the water and had bad results. this seems to work a lot better roots in 5 to 7 days. i will be transplanting to regular pot tomorrow. thanks again for the help.........you cant be serious, but then again those plants/clones looks pretty hammered. You do not want light hitting the roots. They look way too wet. That rockwool is definately tooooooo wet and your asking for nothing but problems leaving those little cubes exposed like that. You just want the cubes damp not heavy with water--and surely dont squeese them out like a sponge.
Are you going to all soil or hydro or both? Read Al B.'s https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/15030-batch-clones-rockwool.html.
Is that moss starting on top of your medium in the cups??
Good Luck and Happy Growin!

this is what i end up with 30 days after they hit the pots i no i cut them small they take a little longer to get going but the end results here what i getI do my clones exactly like you have them sitting in water but i have a airstone in it also just keep an eye on ur PH becuase rockwool does crazy things to ph in water.
I was thinking the same thing.....but figured they might be well rooted already.you can always duct tape around the clear cups so that the roots won't be exposed to direct light. to me that's a very easy fix instead of replanting them again this early.
