light setups to use for aerogarden

im trying to decide on a setup to use.

i want it to be square shaped around the ag, able to attach the ag hood and raise and lower it. also be able to utilize 4 cfls around the ag.

Gonna be alot of weight for the hood may case a filp over be careful attaching anything to the hood. try bailing wire stands and some outdoor light sockets from the outlet and electrical isile at walmart black and water proof. Check my thread i just have them hung on the wall.

Sounds exactly like the idea I had when I first started growing. I made a wooden frame out of 1x2's, and used it to cradle the aerogarden light. On the bottom side of it, I mounted two banks of bathroom vanity lights for the extra lighting.

Suffice it to say, I eventually did away with the Aerogarden lights completely. Got too crowded lol

The vanity light sounds great. think i may try that on the next go round one on each corner but gonne try to keep the hoody cookin they seem to really like the light it puts off. if i dont go with an HPS light.

Meh, I didn't like the aero lights after a while. It wasn't enough light like I wanted, plus those aero lights are better suited for vegetative growth, not flowering. Thats one of the main reasons why I stopped using it as part of my lights. And also because I couldn't seem to find a sweet spot in the cradle, so it always wanted to fall out lol

well i went ahead yesterday and bought, 3 clamp lights, and they only had one y socket adapter in stock, the others will be in friday. i guess ill buy em after court.
and i had purchased 2 3packs of 6500k 23w cfls. i plan on using 6 bulbs at one time, thru the y adapters in those clamp lights.

i built a square frame out of 2x4's to hold my lights. ill take pictures later
