light schedule question? All and Any Growers let me know.

So I hear of people starting plants off 12/12 indoor, and like to know....what are the results? Is it just like any other light schedule?? Ex: 18/6 or 20/4.
Have any of you done this on your plants?
How did it go? ...and what were your results and problems if any.
Any other experienced growers I wuld love to hear your input.

I've flowered enough plants of all sizes to say with fairly good confidence (even though I haven't personally done 12/12 from seed) that so long as your light is intense enough and your environment is keyed in then it's no worries.

that being said its much easier to at least do a short veg and get the plant established, if your not experienced a fair bit can go wrong and a younger plant can't handle stresses and nutrient/water issues as a plant with a well developed root system before flowering.
