Light Question

Okay I found a ballast that can use both Metal Halide and High Pressure sodium bulbs. I was going to buy some compact flore lights for the beginning stages of the plant. But I was wondering if I could just start my plant off on using MH, then go on to using HPS for the flowering/budding??

yeah, you can start off right away with a MH, just keep it a little farther away than normal for a few weeks until they can handle the high intensity.
