light question

i have 3 plants in veg and 1 in flowering (had 3 but 2 u'r males) . i have a 400 watt hpd for flowering (my 1000 broke just waiting 4 my new 1 to come) so i took my flowering olant out and put her in a dark place can i put my ones in the veg state in 12 hrs of mh than 12 hrs of hps with out messing them up?

ah sorry i'm stoned do u mean u want to run the mh the twelve hours that the flowering plant is in a dark spot?

i have a dual lamp it fires up mh and hps so i fig i'll keep the light 12 hps for the flowering 1 and when it gos in the dark put the mh back in. or should i just leave the hps on 24hrs?

why don't you just run both? Or you could just flower with the metal halide, it'll get you some dense nugs, I would just leave the MH on 24 hours. Or wait, do you have a switchable ballast? That would still be a pain in the ass switching the bulbs constantly...

i'd just leave the hps on tbh m8 but then im a lazy fucker. i do find that using hps in veg gives em shorter nodes wich makes for more solid buds but they always look greener and healthier uner mh. why not just use the mh a mate of mine recently flowered a load of c99 under a mh and had a right result with it

a switchable ballast. i only need to do it for like 4 more days so just leave the mh? its reall not to bad to switch the bulb since i have to go to all the trouble of putting the plant in a dark spot

Yah people forget that HPS is only really considered superior to MH because it yields more. MH will still produce premium quality ganja, and some say more potent.

well u guys made my mind up ill leave the mh its a good bulb to says something about 49% more red. well it be fine to throw it back under the 1000watt when it comes
