light question??

i put a seed in some dirt in my closet and got a cfl over it.....i got it on 18/6 right now and been like that for about two days now.....should i just give it 24 hour light until it sprouts then switch to 18/6 or what....can any1 help me out

did you germinate the seed first? it could take a while. i usually keep it on 24/0 for liek a week then i put it on 18/6 cause i think everyone needs there sleep.

no i didn't germinate it i thought about it but i just said fuck it and put it in the dirt

if it comes up, it will take probably like 4-6 days since it wasnt germinated
