Light Positioning

I have a hanging unit with 2 20W gro-lux floros in it that are lighting up my vegging plants right now but since I'm growing an outdoor strain indoors, I am told I need to add more light. I have 4 plants but want to end up with 2 after I sex them. I bought an 250W HPS but I don't know how to distribute the light with two hanging ballasts. Should I set the HPS on the side, facing the plants. With the floros hanging above. Or the HPS above with the floros on the side? Will one side of the plants grow more if that's the case? Or do I even need the HPS until flowering?

ok picture this the HPS about 20 inches above , the fluros hanging horizontal on each side of the plant feeding the lower parts of the plants while th hps does most of the work feeding the top areas , Beautiful set up

use the hps now , u can use it for veg and flowering

Thanks, for electric bill purposes, would the outdoor strain be okay with just the floros for veg?

yea i mean ud get better results with Hps or more wattage , but for monitary purposes the fluros will work ok
