Looks more like Light burn to me..Heat burn will cause the leaves to curl away from the heat..not upwards....Light burn will cause them to curl down...put a fan o them...and they will adjust.

Thanks for the response. I'm curious as to how a more fans would help them adjust if it's light stress. Anymore info that can be given would be greatly appreciated.

I have moved the light about 16 inches from the canopy, hoping this will help with either form of stress.

Google light burn cannabis....... you won't pull up that...
Try over feeding and mag deficiency
They are in ffof soil and have not started nutes at all.

They have only been getting water and have been in this

soil since seed. So my plan of attack would be? Cal mag

plus or Epsom salts?

Were the leaves discolored in this fashion prior to switching bulbs?.

And for how long have these plants been in the same pre-fertilized FF blend?.

I think you have both light burn and a mineral deficiency as previously mentioned.

I would lean towards heat issues seeing as you had the light so close. I would keep it at 2' above you plants, and possibly a magnesium problem as qwizoking mentions. Now would be the time to consider adding some Calmag and some nutes. Good luck

There was no sign off problems under mh lighting. The

symptoms began about 5 days after switching to hps.

They have been in the ffof for about 4 weeks from seed.

I moved the light about 24" from the canopy and foliar

sprayed .5 tsp of Epsom salt mixed in a quart of water.

The standard distance on an HPS is approximately 18" from canopy, so sounds like some light burn occurred even after you moved them up to 16"...as per your previous post.

It's that veining on the leaves which still has me baffled, looks just like a mineral deficiency...yet FFOF is a good blend. They recommend feeding in it after a month, but the nutes in that stuff can last almost an entire grow cycle.

"Composted forest humus, sphagnum peat moss, Pacific Northwest sea-going fish, crab meal, shrimp meal, earthworm castings, vermicultural compost (bedding material and livestock manure), sandy loam, perlite, fossilized bat guano, granite dust, Norwegian kelp meal and oyster shell (for pH adjustment)."

As you know, that's what's in it...so I'm hesitant to diagnose a cal/mag issue.:???:
