Light mover

Not what it says on the lightrail page sparky but wtfever you say.
Oh and the 1 bys are because imagine that!!! my ceiling/floor joist were running the wrong way and I wanted to mount more than 35 pounds to my rail.
I run fans that will deal with the little static those bends cause.

Sexy! Read about toggle bolts.

the luxor alone should cover 4x4 easily. why have the led so close? seems like you would spread it out some.

how much actual wattage does that led panel pull?

I got rid of that panel, gonna run some onyx grow from rapid. The onyx runs 28-warm white xm-L2 at 2A. intense little light with remote driver.

jesus christ I gotta deal with these flaky ass electricians all fucking day long, not tonight buddy.
OP good luck.

Its not just about holding weight without rail sag. Its about wheelspin dragging weight. 75 lbs slave total perhaps but not all hung on the single motor without slaves.

I have been using light movers for years. I currently have 2. I have never had an issue with any of them. One I bought 3 years ago and 2 were second hand and maybe 5 years old. Yes they do work for leds, but like greengenes said only 6" to 12". Just enough to eliminate shade spots. At first I tried having it move 2 plus feet and my results suffered some. My Sol 9 weighs 26 pounds and has been on the mover for 5 months. The panel that was on it before was over 30 pounds and measured 38" x 42".

never can you please recommend a light mover that can move 6 inches? the ones I see all move 2 feet or more thank you!

Look closer at the picture. The vicegrips are my stops. You can make it do 2" or 20'. It all depends on where you put the stops. The rail can be linked to any length. Mine is the lightrail 3.5 with the adjustable stall. You can have it always moving or dial it down to stop at the ends for up to a minute. Later I will get a pic of how I have it now. I can easily move it laterally now.

trust me, I've had much much weight on my lightrail 3.5 and I do know how to distribute that weight using trollies but thanks.
I've gone thru one drive wheel in a couple years. these lightrails are built like tanks. But thanks for the advice.
