Light mover

Yes they do. I have been trying to get mine back from a friend. They really expand veg capabilities from personal experience. Flower I would like to test one day soon. I think in flower just moving it just 6"-12" each way is what won't sacrifice anything from moving too much/far. It should seriously improve the quality and size across the whole canopy.

We rigged 6 at120's on to a light rail 5. It is the only one that can handle the weight of more than one good led unit. We had 2 on main motor with the bar it comes with...then 2 extensions with trollies, one on each side of the motor, that each held 2 lights also. The rated weight is for on the motor directly...you can push the weight a bit if you use the extensions/trollies because it distributes the weight better. 6 stagnant cover about 4x6...the movers system expanded it to 4x12.

I wanna use it for my flowering room having my main light on this rail and 2 side light LEDs

I dunno snaps. i had my 8" xxl hoods on intelidrive movers for years. and those things weigh like 26 pounds or something

had to replace the drive wheels and guide wheels every six months or so..but other than that. Few problems.

I recently did away with the movers though in favor of a second hood and light.

So at just under 30 lbs we have reliability / longevity issues. Also the led lights that are powerful enough to think about moving even for veg, are very bulky L x W with weight spread throughout. This will finish off mover wheels faster.

Had a guy at a mmc running a big led panel using a beefy light rail 5 and he gave up on that putting a 400 mh on it.

do you guys think that light mover could move both my 1000w hps and my 426w led at the same time and handle the weight?

I'm looking to really up my setup for my next run so any advice is helpful my problem is right now I cant use my 1000w hps and I have to only use LEDs because I cant vent my HPS properly. So until next run I am stuck with all LEDs. My area is a 6.5x6.5x6.5foot tent and looking to cover all that with 1 1000w hps and my 3 LEDS I have 2 panel LEDs from blackstar and 1 big panel from blackstar. planning to use the panels as side lights but would a light mover help my hps cover the whole tent cause right now it doesn't cover all of it.

Personally I would grow under the area lit by the static 1kW and call it good.

actually I think the wheel failures had more to do with the fact that I was air cooling the hoods too. so the mover had to make the flexible ducting accordion up at the ends of it's run.

It was a huge pita to get tuned in. I had to run guide wires through the ducting/hoods and anchor on opposing ends of the room with turnbuckles to take the slack out.

I ended up cutting some strips of non slip tape to the channel where the drive wheel sat and this helped tremendously with traction.

I have never seen an led panel larger than 26x30"

but i'm no expert on them either
