:eyesmoke:I have two 1000w HPS hoods in my flower room I have a 12' x 12' area to work with, I just want to know if light movers are a good idea during flowering ?, I have been told stationary (light in one place) lighting is best for flowering and light movers are best for veg.
I was thinking about running each light on a 8' rail in my flower room to cover more space and get more ladies on the ground ?? let me know fellas, I know this is the place to ask....:eyesmoke:

I dont think a mover is for ether veg of flower
they are design to cover more area then a stationary lamp
I think it would do you good with your room size

I plan on using mine during both Veg and Flowering. I'm thinking that all sides of the buds (plant), and the lower parts of the plant are receiving more light with a mover. When flowering outside the sun is moving, providing sun to all parts of the plant. Using the mover during flowering should provide larger yields. I read up to 40%-50% more.

The sun doesnt move as much as the earth does. Not even a stationary light can compare to the suns 10,000 lumens per sqaure foot.
With the mover your going to have some leggy plants. With a 12by 12 room you should use at least 4 lights. You could probly get away with light movers for veg and first two weeks of bloom.

You would benifit from using the light movers, more light will reach areas that it was lacking. More growth.

You turn 2 lamps into 4 with movers.
