Light leak

hi,

i was wondering how bad does a light leak have to be to cause stress to the plant?

like how long? intensity?

my set-up is in pure darkness when light's off, no leaks at all.

but i had to get in there the other day to grab some stuff, the light i allowed in wasn't very strong at all and lasted about 15-30 seconds, that isn't enough to cause problems is it?

dont quote me on this, but i read somewhere that it takes as long as 2 minutes for it to cause considerable stress. and it takes a light slightly stronger (or as strong as?) than a full moon to affect it. im sure the experts would correct me if i'm wrong.

youd think light as strong as a full moon would be harmless...like a flashlight

The real question is..Are you a risk taker? Even the smallest break in the photo period and you risk the plant going hermie. Grab your shit out of the room BEFORE lights go out.

I dont think the short time you aloud light to leak in will cause a problem as long as you dont make it a habit of going in there when you shouldn't
