I have 3 4 foot flourecent light fixtures. Each of them hold 2 40 watt flourecent light bulbs. They are over six plants. Its been about a month and 2 weeks. They are about 8 to 10 inches tall. The lights are plant and aquarium lights. Do you think this is efficient lighting for this amount of plants?

the answer is NO. p+a bulbs are totally wrong spectrum for pot. you need to go to lowes and get six ge daylight bulbs. they are t12, 40w, 6500k, 3050 lum ea.

for flower, you can change them to kitchen and bath bulbs, t12, 40w, 3000, 3500lum ea.

use 23w cfl's for side lighting in flower.
