light help please

i've got only one plant, which is an unknown very indica looking strain...anyways a friend of mine lent me this bulb Coralife 20000k Marine Fluorescent on a simple black-light "ballast" should i keep it because its energy efficient, or is it too weak? it seems pretty bright and very blue for my veg. cycle. any one? if it's good enough how far away should i keep it? right now its about 5+ inches from it. thanks!

I would say it should be fine & if the bulb stays pretty cool than keep it only 2 or 3 inches away.20000K is a weird temperature rating - get another if possible as I'm sure it's lumen output is probably weak being a tube fluro.

thanks. yeah i wish i had some pics to show...this plants leaves are kinda weird...like the middle leaf is wide, and the next to the middle leaf are kind of curving inward in a crescent shape...it's growing kinda slowly, aswell...hell i'll get a new light lol
