These seedlings are about 3 weeks old. They are under a 600w MH with an air cooled hood using a 400cfm fan as an extractor. Inside s 4 by 4 by 6.5 tent.
Temps have always been higher than ideal, ranging between 75 and 88 degrees usually.
It has been really hot outside lately and temps have gotten into the low 90s for a few days during peak heat. I've thought about getting another AC, but summer is almost over so I'm holding off.
In the last 24-36 hours a couple of these brown splotches popped up. The leaves also started curling up.
Still waiting for my ppm/ec/ph meter to show up, so I can't tell you what the situation is there. I did up the nutes from a 1/4 to 1/2 strength recently.
I am pretty sure it is heat strain, but just thought I'd ask. The only reason why I have some doubt is these blotches haven't appeared on any of the highest leaves...it's restricted to middle leaves. I have moved my HID light up so it's around 12 inches away compared to 7 inches previously.
Also, will even little things like this affect yield a few months down the road? I will have temperatures in optimal ranges for flowering. Is that when conditions really start to matter / impact yield
