light for seedlings

how much light (duration not watt amount) do i give seedlings. they haven't sprouted out of the soil but have taproots so i put them in the soil. now just wondering if i should give em 24/0, 18/6 or wat

People argue over this question

Some prefer darkness some prefer 24 hours of light.

I personally prefer 18 / 6.
Which is the same as my mother room (veg growth).

Like k0ijn said, it comes down to preference and what works for you.
I personally decided to go with 24h light for my mother/clones/veg. room and it came down to the fact that I didn't want to run a timer in this box.
Realistically anywhere between 18 and 24 is fine as long as you stick with it.
