Light fell on seedling...... dead or alive?

A CFL fell on one of my seedlings and the stem right below the leaves snapped. The top part looked like a broken neck

The light burned some of the first leaves and one of the true leaves.

Growth seems to have stopped compared to the other seedling I have growing which was weaker than this one but now has passed the stronger one.

It looks alive but Im not sure if it might make it. ANY ADVICE?

completely new to this (third pic is the other seedling)

Growth will slow, and if the damage is severe enough it will die. With that being said- it looks like it could make it. They are pretty tough, and it looks like it is self-supporting . . . that is a very good sign. Keep an eye on it, but you should be fine.

.

Did you bury it deeper?

Mist it with clear water, distilled or RO if you can get it. Mist it with any water right away.

Sorry dude, it doesn't look too good. Judging from the stalk I am pretty sure it won't make it. I have heard of them coming back from these kind of things before though, just not something that bad. I am not an expert on these things yet though.
Good Luck!

Weed is awesome! It grows just like a weed. If it grew like the ones in my yard it would be indestructible! :)

Looks fine... Good luck

EDITED: Just saw the first pic... ow.....

No I just added a paper clip to support the top which looked like a broken neck.....

The first pic was when it had just happened so I leaned it against a paper, then placed the paper clip support. The SECOND pic is about 30 hours later.

Once had a seedling just like that, it withered away,
but slowly, over the course of a week...
Even if it does keep growing, it's going to be one weak plant!

I doubt it's going to make it, sorry.
