light cyles

so i was just wondering if its bad if i put some seedling on a 12/12 light cycle right away as soon as they popped outta the soil and started growing or if this is just fine. i had no growth when i tryed vegging and now once i put em on 12/12 they are taken off like a bat outta hell

well as far as i know man the 12/12 light cycle is used only for the flowering process of growing your plant so you should veg it for 30 days before you want to flower. but i would recommend using 24/0 till flowering then to switch to flowering stage. turn lights off for 48 hours completely and then start the 12/12

They will try and start flowering before they are mature enough to which will cause problems, along with low yield. Do it right and you'll be glad you did.

i dont really care about yield its just for me and i stagger the germination to
like a new batch of seeds every month or so, so far i got 2 batches started the second i just started yesterday im growin with cfl's so the yeild wont be that great even if i grow em up and out
