Light cycle for autoflowers?

Hello amigos, I hope you're doing amazing. I'm on my second autoflower grow and I currently have the light running 24/7. In my first grow, I had it 20h on, 4h off. Has any of you experimented with this and what are your thoughts? Do you think an auto needs some hours in the darkness to "rest"? Thank you and God Bless.

I like to give them 4 to 6 hours rest per day.

Because the door to my grow room is never closed, I use 18/6 to coincide with MY sleep cycle.
This is functional for people, pets and plants in my household. Organic soil auto grower.
