light burn question

ok guys i wish i had a camera so i could take a pic of my plants to show you. but since i dont i will tell you in detail. I have germinated some seeds and have recently put them in soil. They are about a little over a week old and are 2-3 inches big. I had them pretty close to some flourescent lights and may have made them get light burn. there is one plant that shows it the most. what it looks like is little brown spots all over the leaf. i have started to notice that the other ones are starting to get it just toward the tips right now. I dont think its pests just because there so young and a couple days ago there was no signs of these brown spots. i am going to raise the light some more to see if this fixes the problem or not. I was wondering though if someone has a pic of a plant with light burn so i could compare. also do you think this could be light burn? the lights i say were probaly a half inch away form plants maybe even less.
PS: the plant that has the most spots isnt the tallest one so it makes me wonder

Are you using nutrients? CFL don't put off that much heat.

no no nutrients yet just because ther so young. I put them outside in the sun and notice that the leavs are pointing up and not drooping down like when they where under cfls.
