if you burn your plant with lights, can you cut off the burnt fan leaf and have it still grow? the tips of the leaf are all slightly black looking but the main part is still green.

Why not just leave it? Its not really hurting anything

I agree, the best practice for little burns like that are to just let the plant deal with it.

Sometimes ya want to remove sick parts of the plant so it does not put all its energy into healing the sick area. You should remove all dead parts of the plant. That way you can track the plant more. How can ya tell if its getting any better when ya leave all the dead on it. You may have another problem happen down the road so you want to see the problem easier. Tough to see when the plant has dead tissue all over the place.
