Ok so I've got a free bag of this stuff I'm going to try it on one plant. Have any of you guys used this soil? What do you think? How do you like it? I've googled it and came up pretty short on reviews.:peace:

The guys at SOG tried to get me to buy it I passed. You got it for the right price. Supposedly it is a all inclusive mix like super soil.

Well guess I'm going to have to do a side by side grow (2 clones from the same mother). Using my soil mix I normally use (Ocean Forest cut with light Warrior added coco and extra perlite mixed in) and the M3 Michigan made mix.

I passed on it as well. Store here in the UP wants $35 a bag. Thing that fucks me up is, super soil you can't use straight and it lasts for the entire grow. How can this last all grow AND you can plant directly into it? I want to perfect mixing my own shit. (And having it so potent that it can only go on the bottom 1/2 of the pot.)

I've used it on a few plants. I got a few bags free when they tried to push it at a shop I was at in Phoenix. It's OKAY. If its your first grow you'll love it. But if it's not then you'll notice it lacks some stuff. The taste was good for organic but if you use it Id recommend using some organic bottled nutrients to help make up for what it lacks.

Just going by your homemade mix I would suggest you use sunshhine mix #4 I have a feeling it is what you are trying to make.

Hey folks, been reading a bunch of posts in the forums re: M3 Michigan Made Mix....here's my input. I'm from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Kenton to be exact. I own a farm (no longer a working farm) so that said, I work my soil up well and add 1/3 to 1/2 of M3 to my own organic dirt which has a mix of cow/horse manure in sand....my plants (weed) the past 3 years that I didnt use M3 were average if that....I used/added M3 MMM to my soil this past spring/;summer when I transplanted them into the ground June 1st and just before they went into flower I added Papa's Perfect Poop (one heaped Tsp) sprinkled on top of the dirt of each plant out to the drip line. I use zero nutes...none! The only thing that I make sure of is that the ph of the ground is within range and also, I ph the water (well water) every morning when I water them. The reason that I went to MMM is because I know a large grower that brought me to his crop and explained the use of the stuff....I decided to give it a shot this spring and very happy that I did! I've read a lot of negative comments about MMM and have found that this shit really is worth $40 for a 20# bag. I buy 2 bags and mix accordingly with my own soil and I'm g to g for the growing season. I also do add a bit more of vermiculite which will help keep the ground aerated...when I dug the plants up after Octobers harvest there was a root mass of 3 feet in diameter and 8-10 inches thick! Now if you have a lot of sand I would go at least 50/50 on the mix....as the plants grow I will top them with the same dirt.....I had excellent results! give it a chance....150 oz. from 12 plants:hump:. Was it a coinsidence? Maybe, but I think not...this next grow season will tell. Btw,the owner of MMM did promptly answer my email questions promptly....his name is Bernie....thanks for reading. Nobody
