Lets talk Advanced Nutrients!

Been thinking about trying AN, with the obvious problem being a bunch of bullshit marketing and high price. If you go to their site and get their "Grandmaster" feeding chart, it recommends buying this:

Sensi Bloom A
Sensi Bloom B

Big Bud
B-52
Overdrive
Bud Candy
Final Phase
Nirvana
Bud Ignitor
Rhino Skin
Bud Factor X
VooDoo Juice
Tarantula
Sensizym
Piranha

15 different bottles.

VooDoo Juice, Tarantula, Sensizym, Piranha are all microbials.

B-52 is B vitamin.

Nirvana appears to be a micro nutrient made from: http://www.handypantry.com/azomite-mineral-fertilizer?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=CSE&utm_campaign=Base&gclid=CIWptfLdlLcCFYFo4AodrX0A5w

Bud Ignitor seems to replace Bud Blood, which some people actually seemed to like.

Rhino Skin is silica, probably similiar to Dynagro Protekt.

My question is, is there a way to use AN products to get good results, without getting completely ripped off? Maybe something like:

Sensi Bloom A+Sensi Bloom B
Big Bud
Overdrive
VooDoo Juice OR Tarantula and Piranha
Bud Blood
Dynagro Protekt

And then keep some B-52 around for clones.

Still wouldn't be cheap compared to something like Dynagro Bloom + Tiger Bloom, but would it be better / worth trying?

not the cheapest that's why people talk shit! Comparable results can be had with other methods, this I quite simple though!

I wasn't questioning you're growing ability, I'm just saying no liquid nute is 100% organic. unless its like liquid guano or something

Advanced nutrients is ok, but there are a lot of redundant products in their line. Big Bud,Overdrive, and Budcandy are a good combo along with any companies base nutrients(A&B or Grow Micro Bloom). Enzyme products arent crucially necessary, like sensizym/hygrozyme. Benefical bacterias like tarantula, pirahna, and voodoo juice might help but can be skipped without noticing much of a difference. I like Nirvana, it has some good earthy shit in it and is comparatively cheap.

Its just about knowing what you really need and knowing what is fluff.

Liquid organics has to have something to stablalize it. I would rather brew my own. Advanced nutes are good but to overpriced. All you need to know is what npk micro mica to feed at that stage to have good sucess. Grow micro bloom is the best because you could adjust it to any plants needs. They finally add ph stabalizers, carbs, and humic and fulvic acids to their base. No need for any additives now.

  • I originally went 100% AN back in the day because it is a nutrient line that is base on marijuana growing. After about 2yrs. and a big ass hole in my pocket I started looking for replacement nutrients that have comparable results. I have found that some of the AN products do really well and so I kept those in my regiment, here is what I changed from the AN line and what I kept:

    Sensi Bloom A (Changed to Heavy16 Bloom A )
Sensi Bloom B (Changed to Heavy16 Bloom B)

    Big Bud (Great product)
    B-52 (SuperThrive)
    Overdrive (Great product)
Bud Candy (I use it on the fruity type strains and use Sweet Raw on strains that aren't fruity like skunk and diesel)
    Final Phase (Great Product)
    Nirvana (Great Product)
Bud Ignitor (M.O.A.B aka - Mother of all Blooms)
    Rhino Skin (Botanicare Silica blast)
Bud Factor X (Just use Magnesium sulfate...a.k.a....Epsom salts)
    VooDoo Juice (Roots Excelerator)
Tarantula ( I like to use Roots OREGONism and Orca)
Sensizym (I usually use Sensizyme for Hydro and Hygrozyme for soil or CoCo)
    Piranha (Great White)

Other than what is here I like to add:

    Botanicare CalMag (CalMag supplement )
Heavy 16 Prime (has currently taken the place of CarboLoad, SilicaBlast and adds more to the bio catalysts like Nirvana )
Humboldts county own Killer Tea (Tea's really help the micro life)
Bio Root (Another bio catalyst, I like running a couple bio catalyst because they all have different things in them. )

Of course you don't have to use all the bio catalyst's like I do and just go with Nirvana but I'm hardcore about the root system.
I'm producing killer dank and fatty nugs and pulling more than I did with just the full AN line, this is just what works for me tho, so totally imo.
