legality of shrooms wondering how much time can you get for shrooms
production?
trafficking?
possession?
etc..
in states and canada
typical sentencing
from 1 gram to pounds
Can't find good info on the law and shrooms
If cops care about like weed or see it as hard drug etc..
any info would be helpful even links to other sites

I know in my state growing/ manufacturing anything other than weed can land you in prison for life...growing weed has its own set of laws that are waaay less harsh.

The law def looks at shrooms the same as it looks at crack and other hard drugs.

Psilocybin/Psilocin in the United States Schedule I, Canada Schedule III.

Look up punishment by Schedules.

good advice shepj, but it should also be noted that state penalties can differ from federal as well. But if I'm not mistaken I dont think state penalties can carry harsher penalties than federal by law.

Even if they could be more harsh, Schedule I is as harsh as it gets

i know schedule 3 for production ,possession,trafficking is max 10 years
but what would typical sentencing be since i see no min years for 1 gram to etc..
Since i would think you would get less time for a gram compared to a ounce or pound

Most of the cops around my area will actually let you go for small amounts of Nug, they take huge offense to any psychedelics though, and you can rest assured that they will do everything in their power to fuck you over. I guess it has to do with the negative stigma that is still to this day associated with them. Always stay in safe, non-static places when you trip, and you won't have to worry about dealing with the authorities.

I don't go to where cops can find me when on shrooms , Just would like to know how cautious i should be when around shrooms. Seems i should act as they are hard drugs to make sure i don't get booked for shrooms ,don't like the sound of years for something as safe as shrooms

Yea bro, even though they definitely are not, treat them like a hard drug in regards to the law. You do not wanna get caught by them with any psychedelics on you, trust me, they will have no mercy. Always better to be safe than sorry.
