Legal question

So I know they recently made it illegal for care givers to sell to other care givers but what about patients selling to care givers? Is that still a grey area?

The caregiver-to-caregiver transfer question is still up in the air. It depends on which county you are in as to whether LE considers it illegal. Fred Van Valkenburg, the county attorney here in Missoula county, says it's illegal but no one has been arrested as far as I know. Certainly the dispensaries get a lot of their product that way. It's a gray area....be careful.
No....a patient may not dispense to a caregiver.

It hasnt been made illegal. To my knowledge it has only been outlawed in the city of missoula-not the county, might be wrong. Most Responsible caregivers do require a patient-caregiver relationship be present whether it be for patient to caregiver sales or just caregiver to caregiver sales. we did after all sign a contract with the state saying we would only sell to people that we have cards for. even though the law doesnt say it is illegal selling caregiver to caregiver is a breach of contract if there is no patient caregiver relationship. if you breach the contract with the state they can pull your caregiver priveledge
