Led's vs hps

All I want to know are there any led lights that will match grow time and yield to a hps if so what are they

I say no there are not. and I prefer t5 over leds. hope this helps.

And there's another option. I want to use 5 600w hps but paranoid about the electric bill. Do you think if I use 3 600's and a few t5's I'll be in buisness

You have some great led grow lights that can perform quite well and yes compare to hid. The thing is the initial cost with a light/s of that size you looking for will cost you couple grand.

You could be fine if that's what you want to do. You are looking at about 2000+ watts either way so it will come down as to how much you pay per kwh and how long you run the lights.
