led ???

I wanted to start a discussion on led for vegging. I have understood that it is not great for flowering but ok for veg. If that is so than i know i want to save electric in my veg room!! I was hoping for input on products and experiences. I currentlr use 600 mh convert bulb for my room. I seen a 300 watt FUZZ LIGHT FOR SALE. Supposedly surpasses 1500 mh or hps, they claim(9500 lumens) 1300$ alot i understand. But im looking at it like look if real deal i would save 300 watts an hour and increase light. FUZZ LIGHT just one example of what is probably many im sure.

p.s 9500 lumens i dont really understand unless lumens are diff for leds?

fuzz light? havent seen one of those yet. i like my cfls for veggin. they work nicely. ive seen many post that said certain led's were good for vegging your plants but they are expensive for veg growth only. eventually they will be good enough to flower nicely with and a little cheaper. i know the UFO is supose to work good for one plant through its whole life cycle. im not sure about the yeild though. ive tried one of those spot light led bulbs for veggin one plant but it did nothing but kill my seedling. led's probably wont save you any electricty. 70 watts of led's is the same as 70 watts hps. but the hps will probably yeild a bit more. not to mention the led's have to be very close to your plants, the hps not so close. but the hps also runs hotter than the led's. so theres good and bad with both. its just ones cheaper and yeilds a bit more. im stickin to my old cfls and hps until someone can prove they have made there led's equal to my hps, if its not equal im not coming out of my pocket with anything. peace
