Warm temps at lights out will really keep them from stretching. I do this accidentally because I don't know how to bake my mini-split drop on its own @ lights out.
Then transition to cooler after wk 3 or the stretch. If that's your goal to keep them from stretching.
LEDs to close beat my plants up more so then my Hps to close.

Temperature control is highly under rated on this site. In reality it is a huge factor as you have found out.

Lower you go after lights out (gradually) in temperature, the more color comes out. If you are into aesthetically beautiful flowers, play around with it to see what your genetics are capable of. Purples, reds and oranges really turn people's heads and may even get people calling it out as not even being cannabis.

Ok, can anyone help me out. It seems once again another shitty led buss went out of buss or something.
My Hydroponics Hut Pro-Grow X5-500 blew an array about 4 months back. I'm trying to get ahold of them as I have over a yr left to my warranty but cant reach them on their Site (which isn't available) or their phone # .
If anyone has any Insight as to how I could contact these bums, pls do lmk.
    Thanks in advance!
Off to the reliable quality companies now. Aside from that, a few lenses fell off the elite when the two panels slid I to each other tilting it to raise it. So I took them off & am having much better plant response to the Elite which is now a high powered QB. I'm liking it. I'll try to show this grow more for everyone to see the HLG Elite prototype w/o lenses & the Amare Bar-8 Prototype do their thing.

Did they use those shitty glue on lenses on the elite? I really hope that's just for the prototype

Yes. Steven had said he planned on making improvements & it was just a prototype.
Either way, me & my plants weren't feeli g the lenses. I doubt they'll be used unless he's getting positive reviews from others on them? Dunno.

Yeah they used to recommend them when it was northern grow lights I strongly disagreed with that. I bought a board from their first batch and got some lenses I never even put them on it was clearly a waste of time. Love the boards but even suggesting people try those lenses was kinda stupid haha

The lenses are a good solution for a specific problem that relatively few growers encounter. For everyone else, leaving them off works fine

I'm not arguing against lenses I get the use but the ones suggested were complete shit supergluing some thick ass plastic in front of your led provides no benefit....your custom fixures were awesome btw they just really should do something more custom that could be more beneficial.

That's what I'm talkin' about! I'm strongly considering replacing my Acuity strips with Samsungs for a boost in efficiency. That will take some time -- those Samsungs are way more money than what I paid for my strips!

Saw a YT video with a guy injecting pure O2 directly into his soil. Says/shows huge plants

Good luck, I fought/ emailed with Ben for about a month to get my money back....... it took pics of his boards clearly not containing any Cree diodes (spuzzum, EH dissected a pro grow). Was 2011 and he had it plastered all over his website. Also finally threatened the BBB & calling cree got the charge back. ....... after it all he told me that he would sue me for slander if I shared info with the forum, lol..... needless to say he removed all Cree affiliations and blamed his Chinese suppliers later on:roll:

No one should do business with that shit show, ever.

Maybe but I dont see them working out.
They tend to divide up the spectrum too as far as I can see by eye. Blues are separated Into their own beam it appears.
    Really liking it w/o lens.

Then theres that new liquid oxygen too. Haven't tried it
I think its cuz I stayed with my soil coco mix & am using a Coco base note with this new line.
Finally put my pots on risers last night.
That crap Veg+Bloom wicked it back up from the saucer to much before vacuuming out & raised the medium Ppm to Insane levels. Prob causing lockout leading to the defficencies I had lmk ast grow.
Using Complete Hydroponics now. All organic but still not good plant response. It's my mix medium I think

I have been very happy with my jacks nutrients in coco/perlite using blumat auto watering devices. I can post up my nutrient recipe if you want it. Easy, cheap, and very good results.
