LED solar garden light

more economic and are safer for the environment...?

made from plastics and does nothing but enhance(?) ...your garden..? Nah!

fitted with a lithium based battery that unless removed will pollute the soil for years to come ..? Nah!

I use the Sunforce 80 led &100-led Solar Flood lights found on amazon or costco. They are plenty bright and I actually use them to disrupt the night cycle on my cannabis plants and it allows me to keep my plants in veg outdoors (year-round) with zero electricity costs. 1 100led Solar light will veg 4-7 plants up to about chest high using the gas lamp routine of lighting.

Any history in electronics? Is your goal just to keep them awake or to provide ample light to grow with? Id say to get solar cells from ebay and charge a capacitor and battery bank. Capacitors have no harmful elements. Trick is to get super capacitors or ultra capacitors. Chinese 100w leds are cheep and only require about 24-30vdc. People, here on RIU, use them to veg indoors! Even after heatsinked it wouldnt be anything that really gets in the way of sunlight. The solar panels could be fastened to an already existing roof or something. I know, it sounds like a lot of work and likely expensive as well. But yea if you're not one to diy this kinda thing from components i think you have found the best route already.
