LED proof.

Hey everyone. I am wondering if an led is worth getting. I don't want to deal with switching HPS and MH bulbs, heat, electric bills. I'm using a combo of cfls now and I'm looking at an led I want but many people say blah blah blah they don't work. The pics that I attached are from cfls and a t5 designer flourecent fixture. Will an led help me? Also any brand or style I should look for?

I went with 315 CMH By Phillips & like it for all the right reasons, low power usage, best spectrum, low heat, plants like it.....

That's funny because I always thought the sun was the best spectrum...meh what do I know.

CMH is a vg way to go, but if you want to LEDs, we need to know more

How big of an area and how many plants?

I wanna do 3 chocolate thai and 2 or 3 grand daddy purps. My space is 4x4x6.

I would love to do HIDs but don't wanna go through a big event ducting and venting and...

cmh is an option.. runs much cooler and last twice as long and out performs hps and mh. Hps is a dead and old tech that has barely been improved on in the last 30 years..
