Today i started a new grow box. Inner dimensions are 28"x17"x15" (HxWxD). After cutting a 4.5" hole with a whole saw, i ran 4" aluminum ducting through which fit vert tight. I have a 195cfm fan inside blowing out. My intake holes are 5/8" each and in the floor. I used the bars on the back of the fridge to hold the shelves as a holder for the lights. The light is a 300 watt LED made by vivosun. Full spectrum 12 band 134 actual watts. I'll be making in deep water culture I set up for this. I will also have a carbon filter put on it once we transition from veg.

I like the concept! I'd find a place for that fan outside the box. I mounted mine in it's own box surrounded by sound proofing material. Because I'm evacuating air from such a small space, my fan speed is very low. The only sound I hear is air through the filter and it's quieter than the mini beer fridge right next to my box.
I should've drilled holes in the bottom of my box for airflow, damnit! I have plenty of space for it. Great idea.

I've got some clones in the humidity dome. I'm going to be putting in a few more intake holes because when the door gets closed it reduces airflow by about 40%. The bin is 8.2 litres(2 gal roughly) and will be lightproof.20180920_225353.jpg

It's 134watt actual power , but i do want this box to be as light intense as possible. So, it should be a trial and error.
Here is the light intensities. 15385088647515567211484026321945.jpg

I will be keeping the light 12 inch's away for the most part
