LED lights

Has anyone used LED lights?

I found a site with one that has both the red and blue LEDs. It looks like it would help with ventaliation and $$. I would appreciate any advice.

Unfortunatly...LED's are not that great for the moment. in recent tests the average yield was 5-20% less then using MH/HPS setups...HOWEVER...the LED's DO increase your resin production...by as much as 20% more.

The LED's will get better in time once prices start to come down...it's getting the right type of light to shine on your plants....and getting the right spectrum of LED is just too expensive at the moment.

It seemed a little too good to be true. I want to grow and have invested in a 400Watt light but can't seem to find a secured indoor space. I am also very concernd about odor and ventalation.

I have been looking at some of the grow boxes but the $$ is more than I am ready to deal with. I have alot of bag seeds but have only attempted a grow once. I got nervous because I had it outside and ended up aborting the gow at about 1ft.

Any advice?
