it uses very little electricity, very little heat. and has 80,000 hours of life, very very nice. you wouldnt have to replace it for a LONG LONG TIME do the math, I'm not into right now. but I think it's worth it even with the high price.

Good site. I found this a while back and I think it's a good way to learn too, they have a couple different kits. This is not as overwhelming to begin with...at least I'm hoping. LEDs seem to have a lot of advantages being cheap is not one of them. I understand that in the long run they save energy costs but it isn't exactly a cheap investment even if you build your own and I'm talking for a grow room not a couple of plants. If this gets cheaper the grow rooms are gonna be crazy in a couple of years...almost like a dance club throw a disco ball in and what them grow. I would love to see if anyone has grown with these and what they thought even some pics would be fun.
