@BM9AGS - that is a great idea - very interested to see what that does. When we were working with Osram on that fixture I was not pleased that they decided to use such a tight angle secondary lens (52°) given that the diodes come natively with an 80° lens already.
and a significant output boost to boot:)........those secondary lenses on the zelions are thick pmma

Ahh that's why the zelions have such high center spot readings. Yeah will be interesting to see any changes. If they're noticeable. Other than better spread.

One consideration I've had is if there would be any effects on the plant given the higher frequency of the wavelengths in the blue spectra vs the red spectra and the their proximity to the canopy (i.e. should the blues be further away than the reds?).

No clue. But when I added them with the vegging plants over top your 4 CXB 3590 200w kits it was hanging at 7' high and still didn't have a wide enough footprint to cover the cobs. Things like a laser beam. I'd love to test out their latest Zelion......but pretty sure I'd need 10' ceilings. Maybe I'll wait for the 120deg osrams are out. Those have some impressive umol/w numbers.
