so i just made a small tent to grow indoors with. i currently have CFLs in it but would like to step it up. i figured LEDs would do the trick. the tent is small, about 2.5ftX1.5ftX2ft. what would work best for this small space? also, i see alot of LEDs that are like red and blue lights, can you veg and flower under that??? is that purple spectrum ok? give me all the details from veg to flower to spectrum to wattage. i plan on growing one plant at a time.

That little thing isn't going to work for anything but cloning or seedlings. You definitely need a good 5 feet height at least and a 4" PC fan for exhaust and another for blowing over the tops. I've found that to be sufficient for 3'x1.5'x5'. A square of carbon filter pad ( I used Aera Max) over it reduces odor and keeps out light. For the lights, you could use a bunch of Ikea LED bulbs, Ryet type rather than Ledare. I would mount them so that the base with the driver in it is outside the enclosure if possible. You need something like a clothes storage cabinet.

This tent is pretty dope, I do micro grows in it. I currently have a nice plant in flower now. It got a little bigger than I usually let it but it worked out. I have 2 4in PC fans (one blowing in and the other blowing out) and I currently have about 200w equivalent CFL bulbs. I was thinking of LED stripes because I can velcro them to the roof and walls of the tent. But I don't know if stripes would provide me with what I need

It takes a lot of strips to produce much light but I guess every bit helps. That must be some very short plants in there though, like bonsai weed.

Rofl you can't Velcro Strips to a tent bro. Fire anyone?

Just put 2 cobs on a 5.886" x whatever 1.5'/2.5' length your tent is extruded bar. That way you can raise it basically to the top..for that space, 2 cxb3590's would kick ass and it's so small you could easily, honestly would NEED TO run passively. Which means you wouldn't need fans. Even more height space. This is TRULY your best option.

You sounds crazy man, I like crazy. Can you show me an example? I'm a little lost in regards to the cobs and 5.886? What is that?! Lol sorry I don't really know much of lights and shit. I really should take some time to explore

I would like to have the space the lights are taking up as you can see in the picture. The idea airwalker has sounds like it's what I need just not sure what it even asks for.
