Led finally makes its breakthrough

Blue is for veg, and red is for flowering!! The chloraphyll absorbance chart has peaks in blue and red!!

(Bullshit)

"efficiency for photosynthesis" is a theory that many have tested, and have ended up with poor results. The reality is that those "less efficient" wavelengths are needed just as much as red and blue. It's obvious to anyone who's actually grown plants with these lights that efficiency is what matters, not trying to match the perfect spectrum for photosynthesis.

This hypocrite uses a white light too. He won't put his money where his mouth is. It's just talk talk talk. Grow with monos if they're so good and show us. Also, quit being an abrasive ass.

You know they tested "synthetic sunlight" and sunlight with added red, not white cobs right?
Not all white light is the same

The spectrum of the sun is very different from a 3000k Cree SMD or Cob.

Spectrum of the sun which was used in the Wageningen test.

Spectrum of Cree cobs

Notice how the spectrum is clearly different and that the Cree peaks at red.
Also the sun is 5500K
Lower colour temperatures and most COBs used are 3000-3500K have much more red than a high K light like the Sun.

Notice also how the Mcree curve peaks at around 600nm just like a lower colour temp Cree cob.
