What's difference between SL-B8V3N80LAWW and SL-B8V2N80LAWW? One can go to 1.6A, other to 2.2A.
Is there H-influx or something better than F's in 1.12m lenght, not in 56cm?

The Hinflux have 2 types of 560mm single row.

So ones with more diodes are actually more efficient at 1.05A, than ones with less diodes. Can anyone give me numbers for 1.05A please? I cannot find those strips in calculator.

From DK:
- SL-B8V2N80LAWW at 1A is 178 lm/W
- SL-B8V3N80LAWW at 1.43A is 176 lm/W ----> at 1.05A is how much?

F's are 168 lm/W at 1.12A. I want the best of the best, price range is not that much different, maybe 50€.

Maybe @Randomblame could come in?

hi

not sure if this is the right thread but has anyone looked at the cl grow cob led's on amazon? they are made in china but with pretty good components. im thinking of buying a 100 watt cob to supplement my timber cob setup. is this a good product?

Hi @herbs1

I saw your post - we have a new 100 watt single COB light recently introduced called the Chibi (Japanese for little):

http://timbergrowlights.com/chibi/

This is also designed to fit/be placed inside most of our pre-assembled fixtures as well.

I hope this helps - have a good day.

Dan

I may eventually have to check one of those out. The COBs do a really good job, keeping plants from stretching.

Thanks Dan,

I will check it out! How does this compare to a cree cxb3590 light?

You are welcome - and good question.

The CXB3590 run at 36V, so when we drive them at 1.4A, they draw 50 watts of power. The Vero run at ~70V so with the same current we achieve almost 2x the draw. As a result, current consumption is lower with the Vero, all else being relatively similar with respect to heat production and spectral output. Basically, you get more PPF/$ with the Vero.

Hope this helps - let me know if you have more questions.

Have a good evening.

Regards,
Dan

Did you look at Mars COB? 105W draw power. It has no fan, so very quite. When I put it in the bedroom, I can still sleep very well
