LED Companies w/ LINKS

Wow! Looks like she's exploded at some point. It's unfortunately not a rare problem it's more a pretty common issue with these cheap blueple fixtures. I had a pair Mars 300 reflectors(the green ones with silver refelctors and no lenses) 5 years ago and saw the first two burned out diodes within the first 2-3 month. But Mars has reasonably good support and sent me at least a new board for self-exchanging and after the repair I sold it on e3ay anyway and started to make my own lights. The problem is they use no heatsinks to keep them cool and the diodes are anyway not that efficient and get hot real quick. An aircooled PCB is not enough to make it a durable light.
If they do not response maybe consider to change the build-in board against a few efficient strips. 1ft Bridgelux EBgen2 strips maybe fit's inside the housing and these strips really need no heatsinks because of its efficiency. If the build-in drivers tells you its output voltage and current we could figure out how much strips you need and how to connect them if you want.
I don't know your finacial situation but I've seen a lot of these cheap lights modded with efficient strips or COB's and most of the time it was done with only 50-60$.
as soon as i plugged it in i new it would not work for flowering, bought a 600w hps seconds after. Used the led for veg, but untill the prices come down ill stick to my trusty hps. P.S. bought for 130$ can, i say it was a 130$ lesson

Yea, this diodes look a lot different than mine back then. At that time it was simply plastic-case diodes (as above) and each diode had its own resistor so in case of a failure the others would continue to run. These seems to have 3030 and 3535 footprints and no current-swallowing resistors that only generate extra heat. I'm almost sure that you even have an additional heatsink installed and not just a fan blowing on the PCB. As long as the PCB stays let's say below 70°C it should last a few years.

I take very good care of my light as treat my honey baby:bigjoint: each day only use light 18/6, sometimes 20/4 , when flower keep 12/12 as mars told, like a human it needs to have a rest enough, so once i touch the light‘s skin there is no heat, only one time i feel a little warm, but actually no problem. Think in this way, my light will last more longer. I am not sure it's 3030 or 3535 on the board, since they look very similar,actually i dont care this, probably you 're right there is any additional fan or heat-sink inside of light,I will not open the light to check, since my plants are under the lights now :blsmoke: So long as the light works fine and no issue appears I will keep using it, if there should be any problem i will contact the mars to help me out and ask them to offer me 3 yrs warranty right away. I know most led light especially like the electrical product cannot be used as much long times as the sellers told, since the parts sometimes get damaged easily and w/h out exact reason, so that time You need to pay fee for exchange or fixed, even mars hydro led or like my apple cell phone,my TV, etc,,. i didnt mean say something bad to any sellers, I just tell the truth. :weed: you know the sellers needs to make money, if our products keep a long time in very good condition and still dont buy new of their products, how they sell out their products and even make money. so this like a game, you are willing to play it and you will follow what the most people do. People around you buy new stuffs then i buy, people says led light good, then i try LED... if they do whatever, probably i will follow. just a joke :P

There are some interesting led fixtures in shop lighting these days (high and low bay). Just realized when looking for a shop light!
If you need to choose a led, you can go with mars like me , i use the mars led for quite a long time and it made the good harvest here. Or you can look for more information. these days I was busy , since my mom at hospital, i need to take care of her, and I also need to take care of plants, have no time to search info or talk with some guys.:wall: i will be back .

Old and obsolete list,
Some companies worth mentioning are;
HGL for Quantum Board kits and lights.
Timber Grow Lights kits and lights
PLC for bigger lights
But please don't fall for the hype of Mars And Vipar as HPS is just as good or better and the CMH is better.

Many of us have spent hundreds or thousands of dollars before we arrived at White COBs and Quantum Boards. They are both superior light sources providing the most usable light per watt.

Please don't waste your money and time on obsolete junk with fancy promos etc.
