Leaves Tips Browning?

I can't seem to put my finger on the issue here.

Clones, with decent established roots. (A few down the sides all the way to the bottom now)
GH Micro-Grow-Bloom (4ml-5ml-1ml per Gallon) + Camg (2ml per Gallon) (Will add Rapid Start soon)
I fed a Bennies Tea once before, they didn't seem to mind.
PH of feed water 6.0
In Hempy-Style Red Solo Cups
Day Time: RH 50% / Temp 77F(25C)
Night Time: RH ~40% / Temp ~63F(17C) - 68F(20C)

Mostly affects bottom growth. Starts soft/soggy-like and brown, then gets sort of brown and crispy like a Phosphorus deficiency would.

Otherwise they look "healthy".

maybe my heaters to close to them at night? (Although it is not directly on them) I'll try moving it farther away. It occurs at night at they're only under a basic house-hold CFL at night, but most of the night is lights off anyways. (Just trying to keep them alive, don't really want them big.)

I'm still noticing some of the bottom growth doing this a little.
Temp is a little cold 66F/19C , Humidity is 60%.

The heater is facing away from them, so I actually don't think it's heat stress? Any other ideas?

Only guessing here.

But have you checked all over for bugs?
Especially inside the leaf tacos.

Is the humidity too dry?

Good luck
Hope you find the source.

Do you plan to keep them SOLO bound.

The thing with hempy grows is there is a shallow rez at bottom of container so when you water or feed the side hole will dump when you FILL .

I grew great plants in a kids sand pail with straight perlite or 3:1 perlite vermiculite mix.
Ph 6.0 is right ... she may be a bit root bound.

Pics of whole plant needed.

Noticed you are using like HALF of that cup .. if you started with a full perlite amount , some of that exposed stalk would have rooted.

No Bugs of any sort visible.

Do you think the air is dry despite being 60% RH?

The temp is on the cold side, but if I up the temp it does make the problem worse I think.

The roots look okay to? (the clear cup is doubled with a solid cup)

The Solo cups are solely so I don't have to headache over them. I can check on them once or twice a week and they won't bother me, although I do keep an eye on them more often.

I will was off the perlite and move them into DWC once I am ready. But right now I do Not want them to get big, I just want to keep the genetics alive.

That cup was partially because I was running low on perlite. But I also try not to bury the RW cube too deep to prevent over watering early on.

Glad it ain't bugs.

Possible 40% is a bit low is suppose.

But more likely something else first.

Good luck JM.

I just thought about this and I'm wondering if it could be lack of water? While they look fine, I only give two really good watering a week. And since it's perlite do roots up top are not getting enough water? (Or since the roots have access to water pool at the bottom this shouldn't be an issue?)

Other than that I'm not to sure. Maybe a little low on CaMg or N but that shouldn't cause this issue?

Sorry,
I deleted a post, i had a spaz, and misread your thread, and post.

I think you should be watering everyday.

Perlite is very inert.
Dries very fast too.

Tbh,
I think you have discovered your problem JM.

Look forward to your update.

@Tim1987 Thanks for sticking around!

Yep I was right, sometimes it helps to post up here and go through the thought process.

I didn't think it was a watering issue initially, because I thought they had access to water at the bottom of the "hempy cup".

What did I learn?
Hempy = GREAT for growing.
Hempy is Not Great for "Easy" (set it and forget it) Long Term Clone Storage/Survival
Water Hempy Daily Lol.
