are those the only 2 options? cuz its getting enough water for sure. i have a mh 400w light but im afraid to leave it on for the full 12 hours cuz it gets pretty hot and it is quite alot of energy. so i only use it when im home, other than that its got 3 halogen lgihts and a grow bulb.

i havent seen this question answered yet and its been asked 5 times this week....FDD,KNowm, FLEtch? anybody.....i have this problem too :)

haha thats your problem obbz. halogens and grow bulbs dont work. go out and get 3 or 4 warm light cfl's from wally world,(42 watt is best) good luck.

but on second thought i dont think thats what is causing this. my plant is doing this and it gets enough light for sure. 450 watts of cfl's so.......maybe over watering?

And still get the cfl's obbz.:joint:

overfertilization. curling plus burnt tips.

halogen bulbs are worthless unless you need a shop light. and what is a "grow bulb" ? i hope that's not incandescent. a 400W MH is plenty for one plant.

and how do the bottom leaves look......any chanceyou could post a pic. or does it look like this.

well i guess we can't tell from the pics, but i'm assuming he/she's in soil. maybe we should ask the OP a couple questions:

1. what is your nutrient regimen, and have you changed anything immediately prior to this happening

2. what medium are you in

and

3. have you flushed / leached since you planted?

ok ok theres alot to answer.
well the grow bulb and other lights combination got me that far so apparently they do work (maybe just not well) and i will definetly try adding a bit more water to my nute solution. i dont actually know my pH, and the medium is soil. thanks to everyone who has been answering so far. im just trying to get my plant to look as top notch as possible.

not quite like that, they arent on the soil. it seems that its only my leaves that are affected, not the stems, so thers no heavy drooping like that

Looks like heat stress to me. Every time my temps get over 80 for too long, the leaves get that glossy, curling in look. I adjust the temps down as necessary and the problem goes away. The stressed leaves don't really fully recover, but new growth will appear normal.
