Leaves going into a V shape

Hello roll it up.

I have just started my first grow and things were going well until the last few days. Im 10 days into veg and my all my little plants are turning into a v shape.

The leaves on all the plants are basically pointing at 70 degree angles upwards.

Im using 6 40w cfls right now and i think it could be a heat issue. Could anyone give me some advice.

Edit: 2 of the leaves on one of my plants are turning slightly brown around the edges.

V shape as in the leaves are canoeing ?
Canoeing leaves is heat stress. Brown at the edges with my own personal experience meant it was heat stress. How close are your lights ? do you have a fan blowing softly just above your plants & between the lights. That will help " a little "

seems okay as long as the tips are reaching for the light they will do that. Are you using ferts that's probably the reason for brown. Temps should be around 75 degrees if possible cfls dont get that hot so more info and picks are definately needed.

If the top leafs are turning brown its def heat stress. If your leafs are curling up that is heat stress. If they are healthy and look like they are praying in a v shape. that is Mg hunger.

well the leaves are curled up and pointing upwards almost at a 90 degree angle they seem to be trying to distance themselves from the light. Im not using miracle grow but i am using scotts potting mix with does have ferts already in it.

When this happened to me it turned out that the roots were not in proper compost as I unwisely just planted them into a peat based potting compost--as soon as I repotted them into proper MJ compost with grit and better drainage--they recovered ---good luck mate

no nutes and try to keep temps under control. your plant is little young for nutes so keep it real simple this early that time will come.
