Leaves: Do they change as they grow?

Hello, just a question, are the leaves supposed to change in width and length as the plant grows? I mean in proportion, well, the bottom to midway leaves on my plants are short and fat like an indica strain, but the top-uppermost leaves are long and skinny like a sativa strain. The seeds came from a good bag, so I don't know what strain it is specifically but I think it may be skunk, if anyone could answer this it would be greatly appreciated.

one of my bag seed plants smell strongly like a skunk...is it skunk weed???I hope it is I haven't had that smelly shit in years...you know the real skunk weed that smells like a skunk sprayed your living room after you blaze!

Most plants have either a skunky smell/taste, or fruity.

You may be able to tell by how the plant looks later in flower, but not idealy.

Once dried and cured, you'll know if it's Skunk#1.
