Hi new here are new to hydroponics what could be causing the leaves on about half the plants to curl, about 30 days I figure till they are done budding

???

It is kind of freaking me out first batch for me.

Thanks for the site, still not sure what is up it is only the new growth??? the rest of the plants looks great.
?????

curling in new growth could be one of the following (or it could be something else):
1) light too close
2) incorrect pH (nute lockout)
3) too much/too few nutes

heat will cause "claw", as will improper ph, and to picky strains, too much nutes will also cause a curl.

PH ok, lowered the nutes about a week ago, should I now up it or is it too soon for the problem to be going away???? The light was to close we figured about two weeks ago so changed that at that time.

don't feed anymore if you think that over feeding is the issue; just use water until you notice fading of the bottom fan leaves (nitrogen def). at that time, if you're not close to harvest, resume feeding.

oh.....

and usually, damaged leaves will never heal. the claw/curl probably wont get better. you'll have to judge improvement in the new growth, and disregard the old nasty leaves.
